my cell no is [protected] airetel prepaid.I have recharged for 200/- thru regular agent. by mistake he recharged for 200 and i found that they recharged for 3G services instead of regular talk time. I never use 3G and i have no need. i requested but they are not transferring this credit to regular talk time.conversation attached:--

I purchased Airtel sim card 3 days ago. I needed 3G services for internet access so I activated 3G services on my cell.My 3G services were started but still when I was trying to access the internet it was getting connected through only 2G/edge network.So I called their customer care and technical Staff they told me that "Airtel dont have 3G network of thier own in Pune,so they share Vodafon/Idea network for 3G" that's why...

I was aware that if a customer doesnt use the phone for more than 3 months the number gets disconnected permanantly, so i bought a dual sim phone so that i can use my old airtel number as well as the new vodafone number, so my airtel number was connected to the network even if i wasnt making or reciving calls, but i used to receive msgs on airtel number, I even had enough balance on it, on top of that i converted my number into lifetime prepaid...

I had a sad story and it cost me a mental torture with the service of Airtel DTH. Any Airtel employee who checks this customer-ID and the list of complaints/grievances filed by me will definitely feel low for working for that company and will resign immediately.

I don't know whether I get justice here or not but, I totally give up my hopes to get any...

Wrote email to Ombudsman but unable to sent the email address isnt working viz. [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@bharti.in. I am wondering weather it even exists or not.

I have registered the complaint of not being able to access itemized bills online for the month of May - June 2011. First time I raised the complaint, one airtel associate called me to say the problem would be rectified by Aug 10th and they will send me the itemized bill free of cost to my home address. Dear Consumer Court,

We got our set top box changed because it was showing some problem on 2nd September 2011. I was told that activation will take 48hrs but till today(12 days) the activation is still pending. Everyday the customer care raises a new complaint and sends me a sms saying that the problem has been solved without anyone actually doing anything.
