I had signed with ZEST Mahindra for a package.Its been more than a year and half since I started paying my EMI. Paid almost Rs.91,000/- till date and I have not been able to even use the complimentary nights that I was offered at the time of joining. Now I cannot dream of completing all the given nights in next 10 years. This is because, whenever I go for a booking, I was informed that rooms were unavailable. On top of this, I was informed, only recently, that on a weekend I would not be given more than one room(family of four cannot think of spending in one room, if we wish to go on a weekend). This was not revealed at the time of signing the contract. Promises of rooms availability for booking in 48 hours prior to arrival was made.
Promises were made that more places would be added in 2012. But that never happened.
I had requested to cancel my membership and have been following up for more than 3 months. I spend time writing mails(get occasional response that they are looking into the issue) and trying to call the customer care(who would promise every time I call some one would call in 2 working days and that would never happen). Its real nightmare getting into such an agreement. Frankly I did not expect this from a reputed Group. I signed because it was coming from an established group and the risks are low.The amount I have paid is not small amount. I thought of referring some of my friends, in case my experience was good. But I will no longer do so and would ask others to keep away from companies which are so insensitive to customers. Was this information helpful? |
