Date of incident :- 11/11/2020
Sam overseas (Manufacturer) on behalf of v sss mart india had booked dhl india to ship 8 cartoons total 800 genuine leather trifold pop up wallets worth rs. 8 00 000/- (Invoice attached) to be sent to usa by paying shipping charges worth rs. 1 57 997/-. Dhl failed to deliver the shipment to the destination and charges again to return the goods rs. 18 193/-. We received the only 7 cartoons out of 8 cartoons (700 wallets) in totally damaged condition. The popup case was unusable and the leather wallets were damaged deemed unsellable to the customer. We sent the damaged cartoons photographs to dhl who sent us the claim form for resolution as dhl customer service person (Naaz) confirmed on phone that it was there mistake and they will honor the claim (Attached). But, the claimed is not being honored at all instead dhl is harassing and forcing us to accept the claim. Can you please interfere and resolve as it is putting financial burden on the business.
We are claiming full refund of the shipping charges rs. 1, 57, 997/-, return charges rs. 18, 193, product damage cost rs. 6, 00, 000/-, loss of overseas business due to dhl mismanagement, mental and economic stress:- rs. 1, 00, 000/-. Total to be reimbursed rs. 8, 76, 190/-. Thanks
