After 1st service i have identified my bike stops running when i pull in the clutch in any gear. And had starting trouble it would crank for 10 sec and cuts off. i have visited the service center
After 1st service i have had a series of issues with my bike.
* I received low oil pressure error around 4000km on my odo. Just 3000km after 1st service when i visited the OMR service centre. I have been informed that my oil pressure sensor was checked and changed.
* I received the error again after 50km. I visited again they kept the bike for 2 days and told me the bike is ready. When i visited to collect the bike. I received a bill amount of 1700+rs. when i refused someone on the phone from adyar showroom told me that if you will not pay we would take the new oil which was changed and we will put the old oil inside and topup with some oil to solve the issue ( I was not given a choice or informed but, i was forced to pay in this situation ). As a professional using the old oil should not be a option, fixing a problem which came after 1st service should be a part of fixing not making the customer pay for their mistake.
* Then i had issues with bike starting up, went to showroom 1st time - They removed and tightened the wire to battery
* 2nd time - I went to showroom, they did some update and told me it woul de fixed.
* 3rd time - when i was in service centre it happened in front of everybody, i had to leave the bike for 2 days and checked something then told me it would not happen again.
* 4th time - i visited service centre, it happened again in front of them. Bike was in service centre for 4 or 5 days, they said some wire was not connected properly and the problem is resolved.
* After all the problem has been resolved - My bike was not performing as my friend's ( Which was purchased on my recommendation in initial days ) -Poor pickup, Low mileage, jerking, hard shifting - I took my bike to ashok nagar service centre. They confirmed it is not performing optimal and checked and changed - spark pulg, air filter, fuel filter and i ended up paying 2000+ rupees.
* Because of the above my service interval is messed up, I ended up going to the service centre multiple time leaving my work for so many days, Waiting for days unable to use my bike when i needed it, ended up spending more money to travel back and forth between service centre to home.
Expenses : Cab to home whenever i had to leave the bike in service centre, Petrol expense, multiple bills paid
This is my second bike i purchased from KTM ( Full cash paid ) and i am completely unsatisfied with the experience. Unable to trust the bike to ride to locations which might be not very accessible incase of any issue. I would really appretiate if somebody can actually lookinto this complaint and contact me for any more information, I have the bill which was paid, photo and video of the mentioned issues.
