Aircel — Sim suddenly stopped working

My aircel sim was properly working for ll thses 5 years. today suddenly after i switched off my phone nd tried to switch it on again the sim is not getting detected. i tired it in other phones too bt it is not working. its really imp. cant earn to lose the sim and the contacts. plz aircel what is the solution for this?how can it stop working all of a sudden? very disappointing! 1.
