[Resolved]  Airtel — Activation of new postpaid sim card (As my mobile was lost)

My name is Ramanathan Annamalai, having postpaid chennai mobile number [protected].

I have lost my mobile and blocked my sim card.
On Nov 09, morning 11 am i went to Ashok Nagar AOR (Address: 44th street, 4th Avenve, person whom atttended was Mr, Prasad and thier manager Mr.Besin ), i submitted my proof and they gave me a sim card and said it will be activated in 4 hours time.

Around 6 pm the same i went there as the SIM was not activated and they said some issues and gave me a new SIM card and said it will be activated by tommorrow morning and they gave us a landline number to contact them.

Mornng around 10 am, we contacted 23 times to the landline with no success and then Prasad attended the call and said, ok i will look into the matter and i said please call me again in one hour and inform me the updates.

I didnt received any call from them, so i went straight to them and they said many reasons and said there is a IT issue. Their Manager Mr Besin Simon never picked up our call and he picks only their employee call.

Still now the issue is not solved and they are saying some IT issues and i have been to thier shop 3 times and wasted my precious Deepavali time.

Issues needs to be resolved at Ashok Nagar branch
1) They dont respond to landline number call
2) They dont even have a complaint book and ask me to write in a Vistior Book
3) Thier manager doesnt seems to be responsding to our queries.


Issues with Airtel
1)Airtel IT people were not picking up the call from Ashok Nagar office
2) Airtel customer care was providing mis leading information that my new SIM card was active, but it was only the old lost sim card was active.

I called 121 and registered a complaint and also called Ashok Nagar Branch on 11/11/2015. Seems like the concern person Mr.Prasad was on holiday and a lady picked up the call and she has no idea of my issues. This shows the tasks are not handled over properly at Ashok Nagar branch and thier Manager Mr.Besin didnt even picked up his call, as i have called around 16 times. Later the lady from Ashok nagar branch, talked to serveral people and my mobile number was activated on 11/11/15 at 18 hrs.
