Airtel — Airtel 3g - Sending monthly bill even after disconnection | |||
I was using airtel 3g data card for more than a year. I raised a request for disconnection on April-20. The customer care executive said that it will take 1 week to confirm the cancellation and I should pay for that 1 week as well. I agreed and paid the full amount including that week and confirmed with customer care that there is no pending due and the cancellation should be done without any issues. But at the end of that month they sent me a monthly bill. I called customer care and explained them that it was already disconnected and I cannot be responsible for any mistakes on their end. Every week they called me and I have to tell the same story to each one of them. Finally they transferred the call to some senior executive and he accepted to cancel the bill. But again I started receiving payment due emails. This time I followed up on emails. I escalated it to nodal officers but they are again starting it from the begining saying the disconnection was not proper and I have to pay for next month as well. I have my monthly bill that clearly shows that I haven't used my data card for the past 2 months and still they are expecting me to pay. I don't want to pay any additional amount and I am frustrated talking to them as I have spent almost 100 rupees in just speaking to their customer service executives.
