[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel postpaid connection: causing mental torture and harassment

Myself manmohan sharma ([protected]) using airtel postpaid connection from last 4 to 5 years of panipat, haryana. Since two last 2 months i started facing problem with my data connectivity so discussed with customer care but permanent solution was provided so i decided to port my no. When i sent the message for portability to 1900, i received a call from customer care with their intention of my retention. The customer executive said the problem will resolved with in four days. So i was happy...

That was just a lolly-pop... Just after 2 days, i started facing new problems. I received so many missed calls from some of anonymous international numbers ([protected],[protected], [protected],[protected], [protected],[protected],[protected], [protected], [protected]). All these numbers were auto-redialed by my cell without my knowledge. The duration were ranging from 15 min to 2 hours...!!!... Then what happens everybody knows the piled up biillls... As soon as i came to know about my high bills i called customer care to check and take action they just said wait till the bill is generated.

After bill generation airtel customer service started calling and harassing me to pay that unduly charged high bill amount. They started mental harassment and torture. I asked them to deactivate my international call facility and block call receiving from international numbers, amazingly they refused and bluntly said to pay the bill otherwise your services will be debarred. All this solved their problem of my retention,... Until and unless i pay the bill my number can't be ported and now there is no action for my problem of data connectivity... The actual problem from where the story started still prevails...!!!

After a lot of heated communication and emails they recommended me to take new sim of airtel with the same number but first i have to pay the bill. Even after discussion with their nodal officer (Jayaprakash singh) there was no solution. I told them that i will pay my bill of all domestic calls, i requested them to check my all the calls, earlier there were no communication from my side to any of these numbers. I told them to check my call and bill history, i never had such a high bill and these numbers in my call history. But there was no response from their side, other than single statement of "pay the bill otherwise your number will be debarred. And they did it now... The fu... Rs.

Their nodal officer always send the same email in reply of my all mail that"your problem is noted, we will investigate and ensure this not happens to other customers in future". But what about me...???... Are we here to get f_c_d up always and you the same statement to all your customers. They did't solved the actual problem but created a new problem for me. Where is transparency as they say with some fukre's in their tv commercial... Everything is for money.

They did't solved my initial problem of data connectivity. First they say wait for bill generation we can't do anything, then they say pay the bill we can't do any thing and now they bedarred my all mobile services and now calling me everyday, causing me mental torture, harassment and threatening of judicial action for not paying the bill. I request if any one of who is reading please guide me for taking legal action against airtel.
