[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel to Tata Docomo MNP issue

Dear concerned, I am Rahul Chitale. I want to port from Airtel to Tata Docomo for number [protected]. I submitted MNP form and all required documents at Tata Docomo outlet on 15th December 2014. On 16th December I got call from Airtel CC asking to cancel MNP and avail offers. But I confirmed that I am not interested in any offers and still want to port out. Now after 8 days there is no update on MNP. When I contacted Tata Docomo CC over chat, I got very irritating answer that they never received any MNP request for my number. So I contacted the Docomo office where I submitted my documents and MNP form and they said they have forwarded my request from their side and problem should be from Airtel side. I contacted Airtel CC and asked about this and got reply that there is no problem from their side. I again contacted Tata Docomo CC this time on MNP helpline [protected] the first time a lady told that my MNP request is accepted but they didn't got any confirmation from Airtel. Now again whenever I contact Airtel they keep telling there is no problem from there side and Tata Docomo CC says they never got my MNP request. In this chaos I really very frustrated and don't know what to do. Last time also my MNP request for Airtel to Tata Docomo was failed for consecutive 4 times. In this I only wasted lot of money and time but never got desired results. I request TRAI and DOT to take strong action against Airtel for MNP issues.

I had to again apply for MNP with fresh UPC. Now again my new MNP request is in process and there seems to be new issue this time. I am getting regular updates about my MNP process this time from both donor and recipient operators.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
