Airtel — Bill even after closing the number

I have already paid the bill for my postpaid airtel number (mysore, Karnataka connection) for november and december'14 . Then I cancelled the number in december after the bill cycle. Customer care said that i will get some 50 to 100rs bill for the days in between the request to close and closing. I didn't get any msg for the bill the whole december and in january suddenly i get a call that my bill amount is around Rs1300. Even after that when i wanted to pay it online it says that number doesn't exist which is obvious as the number was closed during mid december. The fine over the bill is increasing day by day.
