Airtel Broadband — Airtel broadband refund amount

Myself Saleem Mohammed. We recently opt for Airtel broadband internet connection in Bommanahalli, Bangalore location.

As a process they have taken token amount of 1000Rs (Through Cash) with minor documents of my wife. Later they told us that they dont have empty portal for installation and cancel the request. To refund the token amount they ask for bank details and i have provided my bank details (As a husband). But they refuse my bank details and they want my wife bank details only which she doesn't have bank account on her name.

If they take cash through hand then they should have an option to refund in return through manually or else they should refund the amount in any bank what we have provided. Why they didn’t ask the bank details earlier while initiate the connection.

My request to every customer who opt for Airtel broadband connection, dont take the same without proper communication.

Airtel is cheating the people and looting the money.
They even had not refunded my 3297 broadband connection money till now even after 2 months.
Guys please help me to spread this message so other people will not caught in this fraud.

Guys do not pay in advance for Airtel broadband else you will also face similar issue and Airtel will harass you badly.
Better use another broadband provide and pay only after installation of broadband.
