Airtel — Charging for Value Added Services for Airtel 4g LTE without consent

I have been using 4G LTE WiFi for a long time now. But recently I noticed that the Company has charged "Value Added Services" Rs.274 for the month of July, whereas I had not made any request for activation of any such service. And so far as my knowledge goes, such services cannot be used on 4G LTE WiFi - I think it is for mobiles only. It is highly unethical of a reputed Company like Airtel to have first activated the VAS without the consent of the gullible customer and then quoting the small print that the dispute on charges should be raised within 60 days of the receipt of the statement. On talking to the customer care, they werent helpful and were trying to help me by deactivating the service and asking me to pay for the VAS that has been imposed forcefully on me. I have made a formal request to the Appellate Authority to kindly intervene in the matter and settle my Bills by waiving the amount of Rs.274 charged from me unlawfully, for the month of July. Respected Sir,
I am very frustrated client of So called ”Airtel 4G”.
My Airtel 4G Number is :[protected]
I have been cheated from 1st day I was visited Airtel Borivali Store, where they show me 1 Airtel 4G wifi Router for which I had paid 2300/- INR. Immediately.
They inform me to collect Device after 3 days. Surprisingly they give me different kind of Device by telling me that That was demo piece
and this is the actual device which they have in stock.

Than what is meaning of Demo piece or what is called demo ??
To show A Car as a Demo and giving a Bicycle is it you called DEMO ? ? any why they don’t mention it at the time of taking money.
As I feel like I have been fooled and cheated by such a great people on very 1st day,
so what they will do in future ??,
I request to cancel my deal and deduct whatever amount as per company rules and give rest of my money back
They inform that not a single Rupees can be refund whether I am satisfied or not with the product and the company.
I have no choice but to continue so I did...
On my first Bill I have been Charged for Some SMS ??!!!
Its DATA CARD, if I put in to mobile it can’t be use a as Calling SIM Card or SMS purpose.
Why I have been charged for some caller tune or some sms I Don’t understand.
1st Bill is attached, I already Paid by thinking may be some kind of small mistake.

Now, 2nd bill come with charged like something 450 Rs. For “Laila ….or something” caller tune ???!!

When I goto complain at Outlet near Borivali West Station, they have not take my complain
by simply telling that I may have clicked something while surfint the internet so this is that charged
I request to give atleast complain number but they deny ??

Why ? even I have no right to do complaint about over chaged ?


For one or another reason I have done complain 2 time, herewith attached acknowledge/token number,
no respond from company or any executive to solve the mater.


I can understand you can not solve my problem and even not inrerested to solve any query as you are already got money
For 4G wifi router and also getting payment time to time from our side.
But This is 3rd time I have been charged wrongly, I think now its enough, so please remove/reverse that “sms/value added” chages from bill which I didn’t use and allow me to do
payment of actual amount for my actual use only.

Kindly cancel my connection immediately before I may be charged for some other value added without my permission.


I was given Port request to Convert my number [protected], Aircel to Airtel, Kindly also cancel that.
We are also using one another Airtel SIM Number : [protected] for our office use, that also I shall surrender soon, as soon as I will arrange some alternet.
I feel very guilty that I choose Airtel without even ready any online review which shows clear things about company.

this is data card boss ??!!!

How and why should I do this kind of stuff ???
even Calling and SMS not allowed by this card

How we activated this ?

Are you really working with this company ??!!!

Because you borivali - west outlet/branch not even ready to take complain ???

whether issue will be solved or not but I think atleast to get complain number / token number is our right
when we visit your outlet..

I was not asking money from him, but atleast a good response should be there,
Just try to visit your outlet as a customer and see how much surprise you will get...!!

If you really want to know what's going on ask cctv footage of dt: 23/July/2015 time 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM,
when my person Mr. Mahendra Visited store and even a complaint token was not given ??

I don't know why your staff behaves with us like we are beggar ????!!!

Mr Azeem - I have been also cheated exactly same way...
If you are going to file complaint, Pleas share with me also I also want to file complain for this kind of harassment since last 2 month..

even when you call they will tell you that you may be visited some website and you may have been done some click that why
you are charged... !!!
