[Resolved]  Airtel — Commitment not fulfilled and misbehave when followed up

Dear sir,

This is with ref. to my service request no. 72420590 for landline number[protected] in the name of mrs. nirmala goyal (my mother). i had been provided the connection by one of sales person of airtel, named mr. abhishek (mob. no. [protected]). he committed to me that airtel will provide me a modem and a landline instrument free along with my connection (having call recordings of his commitment) that will be provided to me within 3-4 days after my connection gets activated. my connection got activated on 27th aug 2016. after 4-5 days i followed up with him for landline instrument but he said that it will take some days. i called him after few days and he said that the same will be provided within 1-2 days. every time i call him he says that it will be provided within few hours. after long follow-up he asked me to contact with his senior authority mr. sisodiya (contact no. [protected]) when i contacted him he said that he will provide me the same within few days but he didn’t provided it and every time i called him he use to say that it will be provided shortly. after a long follow-up both of them stopped receiving my calls and when i called again and again mr. sisodiya misbehaved with me and said that he will not give me instrument and i may do what i can do. i do have call recording of this conversation also and all the previous conversations. i again called back mr. abhishek and told him that his senior is not cooperating and asked him to provide me handset. after 4-5 calls he told me that some person with whom he has took approval for providing the handset is now transferred and now i need to visit metro tower office and request for instrument. further he asked me to request to mr. sisodiya only for which i out rightly denied. i asked him that i will escalate the matter than he said that i am free to complaint anywhere i want.

Dear sir, i request you that being a bank employee it’s not possible for me to go to metro tower for requesting and collecting a landline instrument. and further it is also not fair at airtel’s end to ask me to do so. i request you to kindly provide me the landline instrument and take necessary action against the above mentioned employees of airtel as they are hampering the image of company also.

I have already launched an official complaint against mr. abhishek and mr. sisodiya (ref. no.[protected].

Dear sir, i know that a small customer like me hardly matters for a big company like airtel, but i still hope for a quick and positive response from your side.

If you need call recordings i may upload them on any social media site and provide you the link or else i can provide you the cd.

My offer told that on recharge of rs 19 = you can talk for 28 days @ 30 paise per minute but on recharge of =19 today at 18:21 message starting came benfit @1.4 p for 4 days, on talk i found that only this rate is being charged. is it not a fraud by airtel

Offering me rs. 617 against the instrument of rs. 1200 . that too in bill adjustment. I have already paid in advance for 6 month. Very unfair

I received a call from Airtel asking for call recordings. I will provide it to them, but on public forum only not on there mail id. I am thinking, What would have happened if I haven't recorded those calls. Worst ever experience. Totally disappointed.

Resolution not yet provided. They had offered me a billing adjustment but I have already paid in advance for 6 months as per scheme. Further the amount which is being offered is also very less according to the value of handsets being provided by the Airtel

Though the company is ready to provide me billing adjustment for handset cost. But they are not ready to take any action against the two person who are responsible for all this. They are saying that it's our internal matter. But its not there internal matter. The one who faced the entire insult, harassment and problem is the customer, so how it could be there internal matter. Is the company so much dependent on these type of people.
