[Resolved]  Airtel — Complaint regarding excess of airtel mobile postpaid bill, which includes the paid amount of last month` bill showing as unpaid.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that for the airtel postpaid bill of my mobile number - [protected], i have already paid Rs.1815/- for the period of (20 may 2015 - 19 June 2015) on 7th July 2015 at the airtel bandra west (near lucky restaurant), hill road center/office.

The same was received in cash by airtel hill road, bandra west officer and a seal was stamped on my bill from the concerning staff at airtel office as a sign of payment acceptance. They didn't give me any receipt in writing, when asked. instead they replied that its been stopped and not part of the practice any more. Hence only a airtel stamp will be put on the bill, that's it.

Now since that day i have not received any message from airtel for my bill payment made nor any communication has been made to me for my payment that i have already made. In spite of payment made, my payment is showing consistently pending and on-top, i have been receiving messages from airtel for unpaid bill and many calls from airtel for the same. Why is that so, when i have already paid for this!!! Its really troubling me and my precious time is wasted in following up for something that has no mistake of mine.

I have many times gone to airtel bandra west, near lucky restaurant airtel center to complaint but every time, the airtel staff gives me false hope that no need to worry. My payment is done, just a little computer system error issue hence its not showing. I ask for things in written that they simply not give and refuse.

Yesterday, again i had visited and met the airtel staff there. They said, its all been sorted and my payment has been recorded at airtel`s end so i don't need to worry. My next bill will have no amount pending showing. Today i get a new bill for the period of (20 June 2015 - 19th July 2015) which has the pending amount of last bill of Rs. 1813 and that added in my new bill so payment to be made is Rs.2991.99, which also includes the penalty of Rs. 100 for last months bill.

below is the information and details of the person at airtel bandra west office on hill road, who has collected the payment and has been communicating with me.

At airtel bandra west, hill road, airtel office near lucky restaurant, I have been communicating with a airetel employee/executive called Irfan (his no +91-[protected]). He is the one with whom i have been dealing. He has been giving me promises of that everything is resolved and my money is safe with him and all this has happened due to some of his back end issues etc. Its been almost 20 days and my payment not been showing, how is it possible. what could be the problem?????

When i ask him, why he doesn't give me anything in writing or show me what communication he had with higher authorities in airtel. He never shows anything and says its all done, i not need to be worried. He had told me, my latest bill will only have this months payment since my last payment is already made with him.

i asked him, give me the receipt no, he said, in airtel, its not allowed to give any written receipt against cash payment. Only a stamp is put on bill. (FYI i have attached the bill too, for the proof) where he stamped while collecting the payment.

Today, he also told me to pay for the period of (20 June 2015 - 19 July 2015) for only
Rs. 1079 and last months he is following up and settle down.

I am not able to understand, what is he following up about when everything is done by computer and recorded. Why its not been updated and why i have to suffer because of airtel people`s negligence and insincerity in work.

My precious time, money is lost due to this and i am going through heavy mental torture, now who will compensate me on that.

This is simply ridiculous and causing me heavy mental torture and agony. I have a busy schedule, but due to airtel staff`s negligence i have to keep all my work aside just to follow up with something like this. Kindly look into the matter and get this resolved asap and take an appropriate action against the airtel staff whose negligence is causing me so much torture.

I want this matter to be resolved asap so that i maybe able to deposit my legitimate dues if any, for the present period (20 June 2015- 19 July 2015).
