[Resolved] Airtel — Disconnection of wifi -[protected] | |||||
I have submitted my documents & advance amount of rs. 5970/- to the sales person named kamal pandey (Mob[protected] while taking the airtel's home wifi service on 2nd july 2016 for the initial plan of 10 gb data at rs 995 /month. On 9th july i called customer care to change my plan to 30 gb which is rs. 1995/ month as 10 gb was not suffice my need. Everything was going good, till i receive my first bill dated 24th july 2016 of rs. 7783/- i called the customer care to adjust the advance amount paid by me at the time of taking the installation & the balance rs. 1813 will be paid by me. But to my surprise neither did i receive the revised bill, rather their credit collection team started chasing me to pay the full amount. Then i made the payment of balance amount rs. 1800/- deducting advance & i wrote mail to airtel's customer care mail id on july 28, 2016 stating my concern, to which they asked me the proof of payment. I submitted all the desired details but to vain all thing, nothing happened. I called numerous time prior to disconnection of my service to adjust the advance amount against outstanding but nothing happened. Over 15 mails were exchanged between me & airtel customer care starting from date 28 july to 19th aug, even i escalated the matter to nodal officer. Then i received call from ms. Simmi singh[protected] on dated 19th aug that issue is being taken care & will be solved by 22nd aug.in between these my service was disconnected on 18th aug, even i requested while issue is being taken care in back ground, that time pls resume my service. But it is neither heard by your so called customer care neither my issue is resolved till date while writing this complain. If this is the approach of airtel towards customer, even if fault is from their end as my advance amount is not posted in system even after providing all supportive documents & they are disconnecting the costumers service since last 6 days & also please note here that in this disconnection period they will charge full amount to customer even i have not used their service & will force to pay in full. This is a total daylight robbery as they are coming with excuses after excuses that this will be solved with in 72 hours so on. Mean while by not providing wifi service they will charge full rental after month end. Dear airtel - if your team do read the consumer complaints on this site please try to resolve as soonest & give me a call with deadline by when? Or else i will be forced to move to consumer court. Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
