[Resolved] Airtel — Dth vijay tv error | |||
For the past one week, vijay tv is not working in my home. To get assistance, i was trying to reach customer care. After multiple times, i finally reached the customer care executive. I explained my issue and the i was told that the setup needs to be adjusted by a technician and they would charge me 150 rs for the same. I asked why do i need to be charged when there is no issue from my end and other channels are working too. They did not care for what i was speaking. Once i say something all they respond is "sir do you want me to send you a technician or not?". I had to accept to this as i had no other option. When i then tried searching forums if some other people also face the issue, i could see many people facing the same. Seems its due to some signal frequency change or something which i have no control on. I have to shell out 150 rs for this too! They said if this issue happens again after 15 days i will have to pay them again and again. A modern way of cheating/scamming being executed.
