[Resolved] Airtel — Pathetic network and no customer service - Ref29686949 | |||||
I am a new Airtel customer, opted for Airtel through portability. I guess the decision itself was a mistake, since the day I applied for airtel, I have experienced pathetic customer service. Because of the same it took over a month in the process of portability. Then comes the day of porting i did not get any intimation of the process. Later, whenever i spoke to any airtel customer support agent about my dissatisfaction I faced during the process, what all I got to hear is I am sorry ma'am, I understand but I can't comment because this is not the relevant department. Now, finally when I am on Airtel network just the very next day I lost connectivity and it was on 'No service' I restarted my phone multiple times, but no success. When network was available for a while i received missed call alerts and then again No service. Finally I wrote email to Airtel, & what I was informed "I would like to keep you updated that a new site is planned in your area. It is expected to come up in 90 days." and i received a call from airtel (with no empathy, apology etc) the guy asked me where do you face this issue, i told him everywhere in and around Delhi. After exchanging a few mails I asked them is it not their responsibility to call the customer atleast and speak to them about the concern. Then I received a call and due to weak network I lost connectivity, and could not speak to them. Then they asked me for my alternate number, as they could also sense the issue. But since then I have the same answer. I cannot switch back to Vodafone for 90 days, this connection does not work anymore, and for obvious reasons I do not want to change my number. Also, not to forget most of the emails I received from airtel appellate, they have only pre-set format, not related to the specific situation. I am stuck in this and looking for a way out.
