[Resolved] Airtel — Refund amount still not given for broadband connection | |||
Applied for Broad band connection with AIRTEL after they confirming me so many times on phone. Feasibility check was completed and they money Rs.550 from me. After 2 days, i got call saying connection not available and amount will be refunded. They asked me so many proofs for it and i provided the same. I got cheque on wrong name and for only 500/-. Later again i mailed them and gave again required ID proof for correct name and provided receipts for Rs.550/- Even second time i got same cheque with same incorrect name and amount. Shame on AIRTEL that they dont care upon customers. Not even one proper response was given to me from Airtel. I have begging them for response and they dont care about that. Daily different people call me and ask for same details again and again. i am spending so much time almost 2 months for getting back my money which they dont care about. Amount was refunded back after making numerous requests with Airtel Customer Care. They refunded my amount into Postpaid account instead of Cheque | |||

Is above incident true? Refund cheque sent twice bearing wrong name? Deliberate or due to technical glitch? Will Airtel look into problem?
To Swapan (Victim),
1. Escalate the matter to nodal officer level along with the proofs and copy of correspondences you had so far with Airtel. (Use google to find email ID. If you are not able to do so, let me know, I will help you.)
2. Share your experience with your friends and relative verbally and through emails requesting them to forward the same to their friends
3. Post your experience on Facebook/Twitter.
4. As a last resort you can approach customer relief forums of TV channels like Zee (Zee Helpline), CNBC Aawaz (Pehredar), UTV Bloomberg (Fightback)
My belief is that Airtel is deliberately doing all this.
