[Resolved] Airtel — Refund on disconnection of new dth connection within 1 week | |||||
Took new connection on 12th may, 2016 and i was getting "no signal" on my set top box right from the next day. I registered a complaint on 14th may 2016, which was never resolved. Finnaly i requested for disconnection on 21st may 2016, for which cpe recovery was done on 23rd may. Now when asking for refund from customer care number, i am being told that i will get a refund of only 2500/- some change. Now here is my complaint: 1. When i have already raised a complaint on 2nd day itself, then only 2 days charges should be deducted. 2. I have paid 4204/- towards new connection (4100/- for recharge and 104 for 13m extra cable). Now when in cpe recovery everything was recovered then i should get the complete amount refund. 3. On asking customer care, they say that i have activated some base packs. My question is when i cannot see the tv itself, then how can i request for channel activation. This seems simply overcharging after raising a disconnection request. Those activation are done from airtel itself to check my account balance. 4. I was said i will get refund within 7-10 days, else i will get a call. But nothing happended, instead they are charging me 1000/- as installation charges which was promised as free installation while taking the connection. Was this information helpful? | |||||
