Airtel — Though the connection was disconnected still getting bills generated

Hi, On March 22nd 2015 i had already requested for disconnection of my airtel 3G dongle [protected] since i had other dongles plus i was relocating to some other place.Customer care had taken down the request for disconnection and told that it'll get processed in 48hrs.I had asked for the final settement and i paid rs 480 during April which was told me the bill for final settlement.I have that bill in my email id.Customer care called twice after that and asked for the reason for disconnection and i told them.My 3G dongle number is [protected]. Now in May I am receiving another bill.And i sent mail to airtel as how it is possible when my number is disconnected.No replies.Called customer care and they told that for some reason the number did not get disconnected.They'll escalate the issue and they told that they can see the disconnection request raised in March and the fault is from their end. Still now i am getting bills and nothing has been done to resolve it.Really disappointed at this kind of behavior. Thanks & Regards, Astha

Hi,

This complain has still not been resolved and am getting payment mails again and again.After I posted this complain airtel sent me an email that i do not have to pay anything and my account will be disconnected. But nothing was done and still am getting payment mails.

Now the customer care people are making stories that this account is active because of ownership transfer which i have never applied for.I never even heard anything like that so why will I apply for that.

Must say that Airtel customer care service is the most pathetic one.I cannot take this nonsense anymore. I need immediate disconnection and also I am not paying anything as the last payment where I confirmed disconnection twice has been paid in April.I do not owe anything to Airtel.

I have the whole chain of mails exchanged so if that is required I can send it to the concerned person.
