AJIT SINGH — Tampering with Electric Meter

The owner of Chulha Chowkha, Ajit Singh, (2/8, Gupta Market, Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi 110024) rents out the building to various individuals and families. He has placed electric meters for individual rent outs. But the problem is he has tampered with a few. Due to that, electricity units consumed for a room with a fan and a light goes upto 270-300 units, which is almost double of what an average household with fan, lights, TV and fridge consumes. When someone protests, he abuses the power of ownership and tells them to evacuate the place. Being from outside Delhi and he being a local and a businessman (Good rapport with local police station), I have limited say here. I can only expect justice from judiciary system because believe it not I lodging a complaint against him will take years to resolve and he being a local can take any action. The images attached are of a single night for a light and a fan. 9 units. By that pace, my single consumes 270 units a months. Double of what an average family household consumes. I request a inspection for all the meters in the building
