Alliance — Frequent connection outages | |||
Hi, This is Bimal Kumar Das. I am a subscriber to the preferred package offered by Alliance Broadband (User ID: [protected], user name: bkd_scn). I have been experiencing frequent connection drop since 25th July. I have been calling the customer care regarding this issue almost everyday. Every time they ask me to do a 'Ping test' and on doing that with my default gateway IP (172.17.183.129) the result shows "Request timed out". Last week the customer service representative asked me to contact my local cable operator in the Baguihati area to resolve the issue. However, even that didn't help. I am now fade up with calling them again and again to lodge the same complaint! I would like to know if they understand what the problem is why aren't they trying to do something? If the problem lies with the local cable operator why don't they pressurize the local operator to resolve the issue as early as possible? I took Alliance Broadband connection in the hope that it would be better than BSNL but if such service issue continues I will have to look for other options such as Tikona Broadband.
