[Resolved]  Alliance — intermittent services and appalling customer service

i HAVE BEEN USING ALLIANCE BROADBAND SERVICES FOR THE PAST ONE AND A HALF YEARS NOW, ONLY OUT OF COMPULSION. THEIR SERVICES ARE INTERMITTENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, DURING THE MONSOON ESPECIALLY. THEY CLAIM THAT THERE IS DISRUPTION DURING THE MONSOON HOWEVER THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT. I WAS IN MUMBAI FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS AND HAVE USED AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT PROVIDERS, BUT THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED. ALLIANCE ALSO REFUSES TO OFFER ANY EXTENSION OR ANY FORM OF COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES LOST DUE TO DISRUPTION. MOREOEVER, NOT ONLY IS THE SERVICE INTERMITTENT, THE PAGES THAT LOAD ARE ALSO INTERMITTENT. A LARGE NUMBER OF IMAGEHOSTING SITES AND P2P NETWORKS DONT LOAD OR LOAD ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. WHEN CHALLENGED, THEY TEND TO CHALLENGE MY VISUAL PERCEPTION! i HAD SENT AN EMAIL REGARDING THIS, HOWEVER NO PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION WAS EVER PROVIDED. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REP IS USUALLY ARROGANT AND PUTS THE BLAME ON YOU FOR THEIR OWN IGNORANCE. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND PHONETICS WHEN MENTIONING YOUR USER ID, REFUSES TO HAND OVER THE CALL TO A SUPERVISOR. IF YOU ARE PERSISTENT, THEY SEEM TO BE HAVING THE AUTHORITY TO DISCONNECT THE CALL AT WILL. ONCE A REP ACTUALLY PLACED A BLOCK OR SOMETHING DUE TO WHICH I COULD NOT CALLBACK FOR 4 MINS. MY CALL WOULD AUTO-DISCONNECT!!! HE SPOKE LIKE HE WAS THE PRESIDENT! EVEN CITING HE HAS TO COMPLETE A CALL WITHIN 1 MINUTE[NO MATTER WHAT?] THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE A COMPLAINT EMAIL OR FORUM. ANY EMAILS SENT IS MOST PROBABLY HANDLED BY FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS.LOL! TOTALLY AMATEURISH, THEY SEEM TO HAVE DIFFICULTY COMMUNICATING IN HINDI OR ENGLISH. THEY ARE ONLY FLUENT IN BENGALI WHICH IS UNBECOMING OF AN ORGANISATION WHICH HAS A SUPPOSEDLY LARGE CUSTOMER DATABASE. I AM LIVID AND AT MY WITS END.
