Amazon India — Damaged product delivered | |||||
I have placed an order for "Hoya 77mm Alpha UV (Ultra Violet) Multi Coated Glass Filter" from amazon.in on 15th August 2016. My friend has received the order on my behalf as I am not available that time. But, when I came back and open the package, I am surprised to see that the product is damaged. The filter glass is coming out as the metal ring to fix that was not properly installed (This is a manufacturing defect). Picture is attached with this complain. But when I request for replacement of the product, amazon replied me - "Reason for the closure of your request: Return period has expired. Seller comments: As per amazon return policy the product can be returned within 10 days from the date of delivery. Since, it is already more than 10 days, we would like to inform you that we are unable to take the product back." This device has 1 year warranty, but I cannot find out the location for Hoya service center. Even the seller didn't mention it in their reply. So all my Rs. 3147/- gone into total waste. Hi, Thanks to deliver a concrete brick instead of laptop. I have paid you full amount for a laptop now I want that if I will not receive my laptop in next few days then believe me your mothers, kids & family members will be paying for this as I will be cursing them for whole of my life.
