Amazon India — Returning a xiaomi redmi note 3 as the phone has slide curve.

I want to replace my xiaomi redmi note 3 that i brought from amazon around 20 days back, as my phone is defected and is twisted towards the screen.
I also visited the xiaomi service center in siliguri but it was of no use as the said they cannot help as i purchased the product from amazon, it is not their (xiaomi) responsibility to replace or return the product.
I want to replace the product as soon as possible.
I brought this phone for 9999 indian rupee.
please respond and help as soon as possible.
