[Resolved] Amul Dairy — Extra charges on every packet of milk | |||
Distributor, Hari Om Nagar, Mulund East, Mumbai - 400081 The above distributor charges one rupee extra on each packet of Amul milk. They call it the 'service charge' for keeping the packets in fridge (if customer visits the shop after 7 am). I object on such practice and it should be addressed. I faced d same situation today. The local Shopkeeper was outright rude n said if I don't want to pay the extra 1 rupee as cooling charge she wont sell me the product. Also she said the company doesn't pay them for the cooling so they charge the consumers...which I feel is illegal. Imagine if they charge 1rupee extra on cold drinks milk packets from 100 customers in one day... they are making 36000 rupees as black money in a year!! And this is just a very small number of customers I'm referring to...the actual number is much higher. I strongly object to shopkeepers taking d customers for a ride. This incident took place at new golden nest Bhayandar east on dec 13 2014. Please take appropriate measures and kindly suggest how to proceed further to punish the culprits.
