[Resolved]  Faber Dishwasher — Dishwasher rust and not working

We bought a new dishwasher Faber WQP12-9319 from the dealer/service provider Surya Home Appliances Alwarpet, Chennai 600018 in Dec 2010 and had it installed in our apartment in Jan 2011. Very soon problems started in operation and the inside baskets and parts began to rust. We complained to their Complaint service Centre in Pune Complaint No [protected] dt 7.11.2010 and after several phone calls to Surya Home Apps as well as Faber Service Centre again complained No[protected] dt 29.3.2013. we have no solution to our problems with the dishwasher.

We have been always promised very politely that it will all be done, but now we find we have been cheated. The Faber showroom in Chennai now tells me that this model is obsolete and therefore cannot find spares for servicing. The problem has been from the start and within the one year guarantee period. The service person has come home several times and taken copies of our guarantee papers but done nothing to solve our problem. The service person recently visited us when it completely stopped working and said that the machine must be taken to their service centre for repairs. We now fear that they will take the machine but never will bring it back. We bought the machine for Rs 39,000 from Surya Home Appliances, Chennai.
