[Resolved] Aramex Courier — Late Delivery | |
I ordered a phone from Mumbai on 17th March 2010. It was supposed to be delivered to my office address by 18th March 2010 afternoon. The phone came to the office at 2.00 PM on 18th march but the Courier services people did not send it till 10.00 PM. When I called up the office, Mr. Punit Shukla who is the Branch Manger, said that the guy who stays in my area will be going home at 2.00 AM on 19th march so he asked me if it is ok to deliver the phone at that time. I told him that I cannot stay awake at such a late night and Courier people shold work according to my convenience. I should not be working by their convenience. I had a flight to take on 19th march which I had to postpone by one day and I had to bear loss of the Air ticket which is Rs. 5500. When I called up Mr. Shukla on 19th March in the morning, he said that I cannot come and give the parcel to you pesonally because I have to go to Ahmednagar. I told him that I have cancelled my flight just to get the parcel and now you should delay your trip to Ahmednagar and come to my office first. But, he refused to come. This is the worst service I have ever seen in my life. I should get a refund of Rs. 5500 which I lost because of the too bad service that Aramex Courier services has shown towards the customer. Thank you for brining this incident to our attention, we have launched an investigation into the case . Our investigation revealed that the shipment was a part of the load that was held by Octroi Vigilance team for verification hence the same reached our office in the afternoon when the couriers had left for pick up. Whilst communicating with your kind self we tried having the same delivered to you late at night however the timing was not convenient.
The shipment was delivered to your good self the next day morning. We apologize for the delay in delivery however sometimes unforeseen situations as this impact the delivery schedules.
We request you to consider the above and allow us to regain your trust in the near future.
