[Resolved] Aviva India — closing of my insurance policy without intimate & cutting of my 19000 for charges. | |||
Dear sir, I Dalip sigh Yadav went to centurion bank in Dec. 2006 for personal loan. Centurion bank official told me that you must took an insurance policy for getting loan, so I took aviva life insurance policy. The official of bank was agent of this insurance. He told me that you pay for minimum FOUR YEARS after that it is your choice to pay or not this. He told me that I will get my amount on maturity date. In policy account statement policy term shows NA. I don't know the maturity date. I paid total 40000 from 2006 to 2009. On 18 April 2015 I received a call from Delhi Aviva life insurance to receive a cheque from nearest branch. The branch official Thane (mumbai) told that you will get only 21, 058 towards closing your policy. They closed my policy without informed me, there is not a call, email, phone or letter from viva life insurance that we are closing your policy. They closed and cut half of my amount for charges. I request him to reinitiate my policy but they ignore it. Sir please help me to solve this matter or i look for consumer court after your decision. Detail of my policy are as follows. POLICY NUMBER- WTG1402243 POLICY OWNER- DALIP SINGH YADAV POLICY TERM- NA POLICY FREQUENCY- ANNUAL(10000 PER ANNUAM) COMMENCENT DATE- 13 DEC.2006 RIDER(S) - NA SUM ASSURED- 2, 30, 000.
