[Resolved] Axis Bank — Credit card received with wrong name and address but deducted activation charge. | |||
I was issued a credit card by axis bank on 3.10.2016 with a forwarding letter signed by some rajiv anand, group executive & head, retail banking. On receipt i found that my name, address has wrongly printed on it. Thereafter i made several correspondences. I failed to activate the card as my date of birth, also recorded wrong.Inspite of that bank unscrupulously deducted activation charge rs (1374) from my account. Time and again over phone and through mails also i opted to get the card cancelled. It was also assured through sms that the activation charge will be refunded to me. But till date it has not been resolved by axis bank. Till date bank is sending me monthly credit card statement. It is embarrassing. I want to draw the attention of higher authority through your end.
