I am writing this with regards to my credit card bill payment. My Credit card number is XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX. I recently received a bill of amount Rs. 67000.

This is to inform you that I cannot pay this amount as my family has fallen under hard time in recent months, but we do want to settle this in a fair and just manner so that you can have the money you deserve and we can be relieved of the burden of owing you this debt.

I can able to give 20% of my debts. If agree to settle with this amount, I shall be clearing their dues within the next 5 business days. More than 20% is not affordable for me in the present situation.

I am ready to settle this as soon as I get the confirmation from your side.

Please know that I have appreciated the patience and professionalism that your staff has given in this process, and that this correspondence has been sent. I am sincerely obliged to you for your help and corporation. Thank you.

Dear,

I had a card with you guys 3yrs ago. I had lost my Job and hence couldn't pay the card. The card hasn't been settled. I wish to settle the credit Card Account, so that there is no impact on my CIBILE with axis. I have not been able to get in touch with anyone who can help me with this. I visited the branch they said that they can only take payment for credit cards ...nothing else. Customer care No. can't respond me properly.

I visited the branch they said that they can only take payment for credit cards ...nothing else. I tried calling your authorized collection center for Gurgaon .. they dint pick the call.

Hello sir/ Madam,
This is for your kind consideration that my Axis credit card with number [protected] has an outstanding due of rs 23000. I was unable to pay the emi regular since I have lost my job . A lady named Radhika who claims to be from Axis credit card settlement team asked me to settle it by paying rs 1000. I agreed to pay it at the nearest axis Bank branch only after receiving the email containing settlement letter. But they told me to talk with the officer concerned and the officer told me there is no such settlement letter in my name. He suggested me to wait until the payee branch calls me to pay. The so called axis credit card settlement team has been calling me insistently even at evening 7 o'clock and and forcing to pay immediately otherwise it will be rejected and the bank may take legal action against me. I'm in panic. I doubt their modus operandi.

If I pay the settlement amount without receiving the settlement letter, what proof shall I produce when the bank asks me again to pay the remaining amount (rs13000) ?

What should I do ? Shall I follow the branch officer's suggestion or the phone callers whom I don't know ? Hope this platform can resolve my pathetic plight.
