[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz — False commitments and late delivery of car insurance policy.

My car insurance was expiring on 23rd Jan 2016 so i was looking out for a new policy. my car service center suggested to go with bajaj allianz. The prices i compared with my current insurance company, there was a difference of whopping Rs.8000/-. So i told the Baja allianz online executive ishwar that its very high and asked if i can get some discount. He gave me an initial discount of Rs.3000/- but later when i still said no he gave me a discount of another 3000 by confirming the same with the back end team. Still the Bajaj allianz car policy was expensive than the quotes i received from other car insurance competitors. But i still went ahead and mailed this guy on 22nd Jan 2106 that i am OK with the policy value and dont mind spending more if the product i am getting is premium. There was no reply. Later after a repetitive calls and mails i get to know that the later discount given to me was not applicable as i had previous claims in my policy which i had already mentioned to them. I got really irritated and asked them to give me the policy at same value that was given in mail as i had proof for the same. they finally agreed and gave it to me at same price what was quoted earlier by the agent ishwar.
I wanted to make the payment in cash but they insisted to make an online payment to avoid any delay in issuance of policy as my previous insurance was expiring. So i managed all the payment related work for online payment in 15 minutes and did the payment on 22nd Jan 2016. They said you will receive the copy of policy in 24 hours which contradicted their statement made previously that you will receive the policy in 5 mins. I called again on 23rd Jan 2016 as it was my last day of previous insurance. they gave me reason as systems are down and committed that they will send it by the same evening. i didn't receive it on 23rd Jan 2016. I called on 24th Jan 2016 but nobody answered the calls. i couldn't take my car out as my insurance had expired and had no new insurance copy which is mandatory document for car. i called them on 25th Jan 2016 and asked for the copy again and also asked them to reimburse me for the car that i hired for the day i.e. 24th Jan 2016 and also asked them to send me the policy on urgent basis. they denied for reimbursement and said they will send the copy immediately. i waited an hour and called again for the same and got the same reply. but this time i got the policy via mail. i asked them for reimbursement again but they denied. i requested them to transfer the call to manager but they said manager will call you in 20 mins but till i have not received a single call till date. I have all the conversation in mail for the supporting case.
i would like to file a case against them for all the trouble i been through even after paying a higher price for so called premium brand.
