Is this a fraud scheme - I don't know. Service - Very poor. Feels like I have been cheated. Summary - While opening my citi salary account, a bajaj insurance guy meets me and tells me to invest in a very good policy From day 1 when the account was opened, my premium was deducted from my account. But I didn't received any documents - either COI or Username or OPin or any other goddamn information. Issue #1 - Had to go through lots of channel just to get my username and password. When I logged in, I found that it was a group policy not a unit policy, so options like partial withdrawal or downloading COI from my online account were not available to me. Surely, the insurance guy missed out to inform me this. Issue #2 - When asked about documents - they said that a post had been sent to your address but returned as there was no one to receive. I don't get it - the address I provided was of my home, even the postmaster/postman knows my name. I don't know what channel you used to send me the post. Issue #3 - As I could not download my COI softcopy from my online account, I asked my Citibank POC to raise a request for me to get the softcopy on my mail. He said the request has been raised and gave me the reference number with 1-2 days timeline. After patiently waiting 4 days, when I called the Bajaj Allianz office, they said no such request has been raised. Its like I am juggling between Citibank and Bajaj Allianz. I thought of continuing this insurance, but now I just want to close this account, but am afraid will I ever get even my principal amount back - forget the insurance premium. Please if this complaint reaches the right channel - I just want to withdraw my policy. I had it. Never again I am having any business with this company or suggesting anyone else.
