[Resolved]  Bajaj Auto — Customer satisfaction by VST Bajaj, Rajajinagar, Bangalore

Address:Bangalore, Karnataka

I purchased 150cc Pulsor in September 2012, Every service was done with the VST Bajaj service centre every three months which they atleast use to charge 1, 800 to 2, 800 at once. But this time when i took my bike which had run 22, 500 kms for the service on friday, they just quoted 5000/- at once within two minutes without checking the actual problem and not actually telling the customer what's the actual problem is. Later they called on monday[two days after the day i gave my bike for service] and started telling like your whole engine and chain socket has to be replaced and you need to add 4000/- extra to 5000/- which was quoted earlier. Also he said to meet manager regarding this on monday. I had to take half a day leave to meet the manager. When i contacted the service centre person he told like "Dont go to the Main office, come directly to the service centre, the manager is here". I dont know WTF the manager will be doing in service center. When i reached service centre the person who had quoted 5000/- earlier said to wait upstairs where the billing is done. I jus went there and waited for few minutes. The same person came back and told me i'll speak with the manager so that the cost of a new engine will go lesser than the expected price. Later a person came into a small cabin, which really doesn't look like a managers chamber. I thought ill speak with him, but the person[manager] was just roaming around where the bikes were getting serviced. The quotation person took me to my bike and i saw no engine in my bike and the engine had become spare parts in different boxes, which he showed me later after asking him to do. I can't trust that were my bikes parts or else some other bike's. Later i was feeling down where nobody else was giving the alternate solutions to the problem. The manager came to me and just said "you have to buy a new engine for your bike, even if one day after 2 years of warranty, we cant do anything". I really don't know whether he knew what the actual problem was!!. I asked for any other alternate solutions like "Reselling, claiming the insurance" to which the answer was "No other solutions, you need to replace a new engine which costs around 10, 000/- plus or minus". I was really feeling like i will never ask any of friends to opt for servicing at VST Bajaj. At last with no other option left i had to accept to replace a new engine to my bike. I saw that there is no complete satisfaction to the customers by VST Bajaj, Rajajinagar.
