[Resolved] Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation [BMTC] — Abusive bus conductor | |||
This is a complaint against the KA 57 F 299 bus conductor. This bus plies between ITPL to Banashankari (500 CA). This incident happened on 15th March 2016. Unfortunately, along with my colleague I boarded this bus around 4.45 at New Horizon College bus stop as I had to go to Jayanagr 5th Block. It was just around this time Bangalore started receiving its first rain of year. I usually carry my Pass and Id in hand to make sure that I do not trouble the bus conductors in making them to wait while I get my Pass and Id out from my bag. That day I could not take out my Pass and Id before getting into the bus since I was getting drenching in the rain. The bus was not crowded and had many vacant seats. So we were trying to occupy the last row in the bus which was vacant meanwhile this CRANKY bus conductor came to us asking to show us the Pass/take the ticket. I just told him that I have a pass meanwhile i was opening my bag to get it to but with in no time he started abusing me in Kannada telling that if you can not show the pass when you entry the bus write it on your FOREHEAD so that you don't waste my time. He aslo asked me to repeat whatever he told to me!!! I was just surprisingly started looking into his eyes what has gone wrong with him.Meanwhile, one Male Passenger who was sitting in the front row jumped in and give him back nicely in Kannada. This CRANKY CONDUCTOR who was around 5.5 feet with shaved head, wearing a cap and had a long Thilak (naama) started abusing that guy as well. He abused him very badly in Kannada(singular). I later updated by the male passenger who defended me that this CRANKY CONDUCTOR behaves same with many ladies especially North Indian people.I tried to capture his face but i could not as he got to know of my intention and became very much alert. All through the way he sat on a front seat turning his face to the window ! I would request the concern officer to take the necessary action on this conductor and make sure that he would not speak in such a way with any other person not just lady passengers.
