Bank Of Baroda — Incorrect ATM Withdrawal

Hi BOB, This is Nikita Sharma with BOB Account Number - [protected] This is regarding the issue faced with my BOB ATM on 18th Jan 2015 and I want to raise a severe concern and issue regarding the same. I went to withdraw Rs.1000 from ICICI BANK ATM located in Sarita Vihar and the ATM had an issue and the amount was not withdrawn. The moment I left the ATM within 10 Seconds I got a messege that Rs 10000 has been withdrawn from your account which actually didn't happened as I didn't withdraw any cash. To raise this issue immediately, I called BOB but the call was not getting connected. I tried the toll free number n number of times but it didn't got connected. Finally after 2 hrs or so I got a chance to talk to one of the BOB REPRESENTATIVE and conveyed this issue. The representative provided me an enquiry number as I clearly told the issue and further the representative advised that it was a fault from banks end and the same amount will be reversed after 7 days. So I waited Again after 7 days I called the customer care number to get an updated status as the amount was not reversed till then. Another representative again informed that it will get reversed in another 7 days. So I again waited Again after 7 days I did a follow-up and this time it was told by the BOB representative that I have lodged an Incorrect Complain giving an explanation that they were under the impression that the issue is with ICICI Bank and we are raising the concern to BOB. I actually fail to understand the explanation from BOB representative. I mean why I would raise an issue with ICICI bank to BOB, My Account is with BOB, The Amount which got debited was BOB, Message was from BOB, Initially the issue was understood from BOB Representative and advised the money will be reversed after 7 days. All the above doesn’t signify that the complain was not incorrect. Now yesterday I got a call from Bank and they are providing an explanation that what they can do in this matter as it was incorrectly raised and I need to raise another complain explaining the whole issue again and then it will be processed. This is not at all done and this is something I do not expect from BOB as a customer. The issue is from bank’s end they are blaming me for the same. And the real scenario is that its been almost a month that my amount is not reversed and the bank is just spinning their wheels. I have and till now also facing a lot of trouble due to this and BOB is not taking quick and appropriate actions regarding m issue which is disturbing me. Also is BOB is going to provide me the trouble I am facing because of the Money which is mne. Also will BOB will be responsible on the loss Interest loss I incurred with Rs. 10000 less in my Bank Account. I have faced this issue in the past as well where some amount was again debited and I faced a lot of trouble then also to get the money back. If this is the service I am getting from BOB, then I should look to Close the Account from here as this behavior is really unacceptable.
