Bharat Gas — Applied for new Gas Connection at Bharat Gas | |||
I applied for a new gas connection online at Bharat Gas. I have personally visited the dealer Akshaya Gas Agency, Pune multiple times. They are forcing me to buy the hot plate which is not required. As per my information, it's supposed to be the optional and not compulsory. The dealer was ready to give me connection on same day when I visited first time assuming that I'll buy a hot plate/gas stove as well. However, When I said no for hot plate, they told me that they don't have gas cylinders in stock so they have stopped new connections. When I visited second time they told me that they need to send someone for inspection. Once they mentioned that the waiting is 70 so I need to wait. Another time they mentioned that waiting is around 200. Your dealer is deliberately not doing the inspection as I'm not buying the hot plate. They are coming up with new excused every day. I tried to register a complaint online at Bharat Gas website (http://www.bharatpetroleum.co.in/bpclfeedback/feedbackdefault.aspx). However, the complaint type field at this page doesn't work which is mandatory. I also tried to register the complaints to customer care no, and CSR Nos. From there, either there is no response or number is not working. It means, customers can't register the complaints as well and this can't be the co-incident. It seems some of the officers are also part of this corruptions and they have made the system deliberately like this.
