[Resolved]  Bharat Gas — High & Variable Charges for a new connection

I want a new LPG Gas connection for Domestic purpose. I currently live in New Sangavi, Pune, Maharashtra. My concern is one of the Bharat Gas LPG distributor (H.M Gas Center, Bopodi, Pune, Maharashtra) says he will give a Gas connection (1 cylinder+Stove+Regulator+Pipe) @Rs. 5100/- and If I apply for 2nd Cylinder then I have to Pay Rs. 3500/- in addition to the above mentioned amount. Another Bharat Gas LPG distributor (Shreenathji Gas Center, Bopodi, Pune, Maharashtra) says he will give a Gas connection (1 cylinder+Stove+Regulator+Pipe) @Rs. 5500/- and if I apply for a connection with 2 cylinder then I have to pay Rs. 2000/- in addition to above mentioned amount. My worry is, is LPG connection really that costly being one of the basic needs of household. Even the FAQ's on the website does not mention such high charges. In addition to this how does the price vary so much when the parent company Bharat Petroleum remains the same.
