Bharat Petroleum [BPCL] — Excess charges levied for attending to rectification of leakage | |||
I am a consumer under cnsumer no.1102934. I had complained about gas leakage to bpcl dealer parsan gas company, mulund west mumbai on[protected]. Immediately they deputed their mechanic. The mechanic tested the cylinder and stove. It was found that the regulator was defective and it was replaced by him. We have a glass top prestige gas stove. He tested near the by turning on knob of the stove and showed the lighted matches and immediately there was flame. He advised us to change all the three knobs in the stove which we agreed. However he brain washed us to change the nozzle which connects the stove with the tube connected to the cylinder (Part numbered 4 in attached sheet) also and he said it would cost rs.350/- for that part. Also he brain washed us that we should replace the gas stove with glass top with complete stainless steel stove which we have not agreed. Totally he collected rs.1180/-. However, we find that he has put rs.350/- as misc.in the bill given to us. Kindly clarify if the nozzle referred to above costs rs.350/- or we have been taken on a ride by the mechanic.
