Bharti Airtel — Amount debited from my bank account but datacard not recharged | |||
Dear Sir, I had made payment for Rs.655 for my Airtel datacard [protected] on18th June 2013 through their website www.airtel.com online . However, my internet was not recharged and the amount was deducted from my bank account. I made continuous complaints to their customer care/grievances division for 6-7 months. Every time they asked me to provide the copy of my bank statement from which the amount was deducted . I shared my confidential bank statement with them around 8-10 times . Later there was no response from their side. Now, finally they are giving this lame excuse that they cannot find the transaction. So, they are closing this complaint. I am surprised by the attitude and the response of the entire team of such a reputed company in dealing with their customers. I have been following up on this issue for the last 6-7 months and the company has been just giving me never ending excuses with no proper customer care/response adding to my grievances. I dont think there is no other proof required other than the bank statement proof which clearly states that amount was paid to Airtel for Rs.655 on 18th June 2013 and later there is no automatic refund from their side due to the recharge transaction which was unsuccessful.
