[Resolved] Bharti Airtel — Faulty Billing and Usage Summary | |||
I, Mayukh Bhattacharya, user of Airtel Broadband Connection for the past 3 months am extremely miffed with their billing procedures. I have unlimited plan which gives me 5GB downloads @ 2MBPS and 512kbps thereafter. The problem is that this 5GB quota gets exhausted within the first 10 days of the month regardless of the fact whether I download or not. I have read similar complaints so I guess I am not the only sufferer. This month, my billing started on the 11th of November and today I got a mail stating that I have already downloaded more than 4gb and have only 0.89 gb worth of high speed data usage left. When I went on to my detailed usage summary, it shows that I have downloaded approximately 533 mb on 13th of November whereas in reality I had downloaded approximately 845 mb! And on 11th of November it shows I have downloaded approximately 700 mb whereas I didn't download anything as such on that very day! This happens every month and is really annoying. I have another friend with the same plan who has the same complain. Its disappointing that such a reputed company is dealing with its customers in such a way.
