[Resolved]  Bharti Airtel — Subject: Complain against Airtel regarding late fees problem.

To, TRAI ( TELEPHONE REGULATORY OF INDIA ) Date : 11 November, 2014 Subject : Complaint against Bharti Airtel Respected Sir, Respectfully I want to draw your kind attention against Bharti Airtel.Let me introduce myself, I am Vijay Verma and I live in Moradabad, U.P. I am using a postpaid number of Airtel from last 11 years. I always pay my bills before the due date but when I paid the bill of May, 20 on 21st of May, 2013 of 376.5 against which I paid 370 whose reciept no. is '2605060' but after it when my bill of June came it was added with a late fees .I reported this problem to custumer care they said that mine problem will be solved shortly but they had did nothing except befooling me . My next bill was also added with a late fees I again contacted customer care but this time they said to me that we can't do anything in it you have to go to our franchise to whom you have deposited the money and talk to him for this. When I went to their franchise M/s Times Services located at Kapoor Company, Moradabad they said that we have gave the money to the company on time and we dont know that why they are charging a late fees that dont worry this late fees would not be added to your next bill.I became helpless when I got the bill of July, 2013 .I visited Airtel's website and again reported a complaint regarding this after few days a message came on my phone which said problem solved customer satisfied but it was only a camouflague late fees was again added in my next bill .After it I made a call to custumer care it said that give us some time your problem will be garrentedly solved.But this also doesn't helped me all my bills continued to come with a late fees.On August, 2014 I again made a call again to customer-care and this time they asked me to mail all the copies of reciepts .I send this to them although this charged me very much as I have to go to cyber cafe every time when they demanded the copies of the reciepts or wanted me to mail the information to them. But they had no care of their customers, my problem was then also not solved .On 22th September they barred my cell No. due to their fault. Then I mailed to Nodal Officer then he asked me to send all the information along with the e- copies of all the reciepts again and then said to me taht these late fees leived on me are correct and I have to pay the amount which which was now more than rs.2200 . I also asked him to recheck all the information as I had paid all my bills on time.but he said that you have to pay all this amount otherwise we will not start your service.Disappointedly I had also not paid the bills of months from when my services were disconnected to till date. Yesterday people of Airtel had came to my house and were shouting and abusing very badly.My family member request him to talk normaly but they regularily shouting and abusing in front of my house. I request you to please help me against this in-justice done by Airtel and I appeal to you to please resolve this problem as soon as possible due to their mistake I have to suffer and when I had pay all bills before due date ( after deduction of late fee which Airtel levied on me every month From June 2013 ). ( Payment details with receipt No. which i had pay to Airtel an excel sheet attached with this letter) So my humble request to you please help to solve this problems i.e.  late fee amount from June 2013 to Sep.2014 ( ₹100.oox16 = ₹ 1600, 00)  Service tax amont which charged by Airtel on late fee 12.50x16= ₹200.00 (12.50% as service Tax on late fee per month so 12.50X16=200.00)  Total amount ₹1600+200=1800) as I want to be free from your dues rather my number remain barred but please solve this late fees problem, so that I shall be free from Airtel and port my number to some other company better than Airtel. So please do the needful for resolution of my problem with Airtel as I wanted to use my same no. i.e. [protected] with any other company’s connection. Hope you will understand my problem.
