[Resolved] BookMyShow — Bookmyshow cheater, fraud website | |||||
I have booked movie ticket for 13th aug 16, and received confirmation from bookmyshow via email/sms, but unfortunately cinema had cancelled my show which we have booked. At that time bookmyshow support team and cinema manager both are promised about refund within 10 days. After 7 days we have contacted bms via chat, and they said "we have discussed with cinema and you are not eligible for the refund because you have seen another movie instead of that movie" which you have booked, Finally i have decided to publish this complaint against bookmyshow fraud company, because they don’t have any refund policy, even they fail to serve you I have kick bookmyshow.com fraud site, there is a really cheap and unqualified support team. Also, as per the mentioned booking ID, we thoroughly checked with the teams and saw that you had watch the film 'Rustom' instead of 'Mohenjo Daro' on the mentioned date. We being aggregators, post the transaction is successful, have zero authority for the said transaction.
Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded from our end.
Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed.
In cases like these, you could opt to gift those tickets to your friends or somebody who'd want to go for that show on your behalf.
Hope this resolves your concern.
