[Resolved]  BookMyShow — Refund not given, over 2 weeks and still counting

I had booked tickets on 2nd June 2015 for which the payment failed (transaction id[protected]. I logged a complaint and they responded soon saying that the payment will be refunded WITHIN 4 DAYS. No response from them till 5th of June. On 5th of June, I get an sms saying my payment will be refunded WITHIN 4-5 days. I put up a complaint on their website after that demanding my payment for which they gave me a ticket id (482302) saying that my payment has already been processed on 3rd June 2015 and it should reflect in my account within 10 days. I respond asking why so much delay on 15th June asking the reason for the dealy again, and again I get 2 responses- 1. An sms saying the payment will be refunded WITHIN 4-5 DAYS and 2. An email saying that my payment will be refunded WITHIN 5-7 DAYS. And after going through the complaints on this forum, it is very obvious that BOOKMYSHOW DOES NOT CARE. This is not the first case. I believe a strict and strong action should be taken against BOOKMYSHOW for this nonsense that they think can do and get away with. Anyone who is trying to deal with bookmyshow, please be aware of what can happen.

The refund for the unsuccessful transaction was processed from our end on[protected]:45:36 Ideally, it takes a maximum of 5-7 working days from the transaction date for a refund to reflect back into its account. Incase, the amount is not reflecting back to your account, please share your updated bank statement from the date of transaction i.e 2 Jun 2015 9:48 PM till date 16 Aug 2015, so that we can investigate from our end.
