Bookstand.in — No order status/confirmation and not able to reach customer support | |||
My order no : 2853 Book Name : Java Persistence with Hibernate: Revised Edition of Hibernate in Action Price : 524 About bookstand.in. I purchased a book before 7 days. While ordering i read that book will be delivered before 7 days. Now my problem is i ordered book through net banking not COD. I didnt get any mails to my email id and any messages to my mobile number. I am trying to reach customer support through 1. LIVE CHAT, 2. Through email to [protected]@bookstand.in 3. Phone number +[protected] 4. I even tried contact us(Leave a message) Live chat is for name only there is no way of connecting to support through chat window. This is totally useless i am trying from 4 days to connect to.. NO USE I have sent 4 emails to [protected]@bookstand.in but got no reply. Phone is ringing but no one picking up. I tried more than 20 times in 3 days but not picking the phone. Once phone is picked but no one was talking. Today is 7th day there is no sign/message of book get dispatched. Friends please think before you order. Order only COD if the website looks strange for you. I feel i have been cheated, and ordered in spam website. If they are really a good service providers like flipkart, they might have responded to my email or else they might have given multiple numbers to customer support. I feeling guilty to choose bookstand.in instead of flipkart for sake of 40 rupees delivery charge and some difference in book amount. So stupid i am!! Was this information helpful? | |||

I Just spoke to a person whose number i got from junglee.com
I will summerise few points of our conversation
1. Book i orderer is out of of stock, he promised me to deliver another book which i offered him to send instead.(Differential amount on COD)
2. Bookstand.in currently setting up customer service environment which will be get solved in one week.
Okay let it be but customers who paid money and if they didn't get book and any way for communication to the representative will get frustrated and the result is my complaint which is shown above.
Luckily i got number and will update in detail once my book get delivered.
I am updated this because many of you may thinking to go for consumer court. I can just say wait for one week which he has mentioned.
Even i can't talk much about this as up now.
I have to wait up to thursday 7th of june.
I will update this once i get book. :)

Having same series of occurrence's.THe price are lower than other sites thats why users falls in the trap. One day my phone was picked up and some one said they will call me back but nothing happened afterwards. even if they are not cheaters, They have a very bad servive. I will highly say to everyone don't buy anything from Bookstand.in.
Its a fake website. My order no. 3077 has never been delivered. No response on emails. Phone mentioned is permanently switched off. I want my money back.Please take some action against such cheaters who are fooling around openly.

I am feeling its a fake website trying to make money by cheating. Friends if book is get delivered to me i will update this complaint.
