Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika — Unauthorized occupation of illegal construction of open terrace space

I am the chairperson of samartha krupa co-operative housing society, plot. no.123 situated on subplot no. 123 and cts no.1/48/1a/1, lokhandwala, andheri (west), mumbai, 400053. the sub idling is. twelve storeyed structure, developed by samartha development corporation. it is a registered society and conveyance deed has been obtained from the builder. the second floor of this building has an open arched space, which was not approved by bmc in the development plan. however this open terrace was constructed, but was not sold by the builder. soon after registration of the building, owners of the second floor flts mrs. upasana singh and her sister mrs. nirupama mathijia, broke the external wall separating their flats from the adjoining open space, converted into a common terrace, took water connection to the same. they do not respond to the notices served to them.. instead they threaten us with dire consequences if we take action against them. i request the concerned k/ west ward officers to inspect the structure and take necessary action as early as possible
