[Resolved]  Net Express Services — Broadband Internet Services

I purchased broadband internet services from the above provider in Shollinganallur, Chennai. Their representatives claimed high internet speed of 8 Mbps and gave contact numbers of Customer care center for any problems. They took advance money for 3 months. It worked fine for 15 days but since then it has not been working. Repeated calls to Customer care center are not picked up. Even when they pick up they ask login id details and no one ever visits or calls to check if problem is resolved. The manager who gave their numbers do not pick up the phone. Not sure what I can do to get my money back.

when I had a problem no one picked up the phones ... I even went to their office personally hoping to get some resolution without luck.

Now when I have chosen to go with another service provider after 3 months of pathetic service they have remembered me and are calling to get the modem back.

That is correct. I am writing this most frustrated with netexpress.

I have paid 3500 in advance for three months. They are not giving connection itself I just got cheated. When I call they are not responding and they always giving false assurance within a hour you will get connection like that. The fraud guy name is NETXPRESS Venkatesan he will be raoming in Velacherry around area.
No I lost hope. I just want all of you to aware that netxpress is a fraud company. Do not give connection in that. without connection I lost 3500rs.

Agreed they have the worst service around. My neighbor was getting a connection from these guys, i chanced upon them and made a bried enquiry, and the next day they sent a person, got a cheque from me towards the downpayment.. the funny part was he said he'll come at 4 in the evening.. i had some place else to go... when i called him at 4 he said he'll be there in 10 min... at 5 he tells me he was stuck at another customer's place and will be there on 10 min, prob i shud have realised wat i was getting into and left.. but as we always do, i ended up waiting for him to show at around 6 o clock.. when i made the enquiry on a friday the 30th august they said i cud get it activated by the 1st of sep. so i ask him when the sales guy is abt to leave when the installation people will come.. he said on the 31st they will get it installed... but activation will be only on the 2nd.. well no one turned up the next day... when i call the sales guy he acts surprised and tells me he'd informed the "other" team, its their job and gives me his number.. so i call him.. that guys says he doesn do sundays, but he can come on a weekday.. i said only sat is convenient for me please come on the next sat the 7th... so on saturday no one comes till 4 i call they say they are on their way... same story next weekend.. 14th.. then on 21st one guy comes and says he will do the cabling, and 22nd the installation people will come... as much as i am surprised how many people have to come to give one connection i put up with it... but then again, they beat their own record... no one comes, i call at 7 finally not able to take it anymore, the concerned person says he will come first thing in the morning at 8.. probably is shud have hit the roof then, but i gritted my teeth and left it at that.. the guy shows up at my door on thu the 25th afternoon 2 o clock and informs me that he is there... even after repeated instructions that only weekend is convenient.. anyways i just tell him to come on 28th sat 4 o clock.. surprise again, when i call them at 3, they say we'll be there in half an hour, its 6 o clock, i call them and give them a piece of my mind, then someone shows up at 7 and he says he'll do the cabling, i said u guys already did, what u need to do is connect a modem, they say they dont have a modem, and they can do it without a modem. well i've just had enough of this , the only good thing out of all this is they havent cashed my cheque, and now i'd rather buy another reliance netconnect with snail speed connection than go for these cable broadband service guys... its just not worth it... its just been so horrifying
I am from Velachery, most of the time it will not connecting .If I will call the operator then their response is very bad. First fifteen days, it is good after it is very worst and their service also very worst.Most of the time it is not connecting

I'm from velachery, chennai - got this net'express connection from 24th of dec'2013, very first day, the service engineer was struggled for two three hours to connect through the cable modem, every ten minutes it was disconnected, he was unable to resolve that issue, then, finally he said, it is connecting properly & left. from the day one, it is not connecting properly, the sales man one mr. murugandham took Rupees 2183/- for three months package of 1 mbps unlimited plan. as of now, i made several call to him, to the company available at mandavelipakkam, no one has got right answer for my connection. either they are not attending the call or avoiding the customers in all means. this is the worst service ever i faced from Net Express (Micronova) service engineers are not professionals, don't know abc of trouble shooting issues. My suggestion and sincere advise is who ever looking for this company broadband connection, kindly IGNORE them. Don't lose your money on this bad service. i ll never recommend to any one.
Guys beware. they are useless and pathetic. No one will pick calls or help you resolve your issues. Type net express in google and their site will not pop up at all. I have got cheated. Please do not entertain them at all.

i paid money for 3 months to sales guy named paramasivam in thoraipakkam, he didnt even given internet connection even after month and he blocked my number since i am calling him to repay my money back, today i wil file a complaint on him and service provider in police station
I also paid 3 month advance before 15 Days, I am still struggling to take connection or money back.same Guy Venkatesan has taken money from me, Don't know what to do.
Worst customer service. The sales guy told me that I would get 1MBps always for upload and download, but the speed is not consistent always. I took 1 week time to get user name and password by calling them more than 20 times. Sometimes it is not connecting and waiting for more than 1Hr and without I just shut down my system. Always we need to give our password to reconnect, but we dont know when we get connected :(.

IF any virus tries to enter or system the connection gets disconnected, and gets connected after the virus is removed by the server.

Net Express Services — Site not working

I have purchased net express from velachery. This broadband has some issues with the DNS server. As some of the prominent sites like stackoverflow is not working . And Many times DNS is not refreshing so we are getting the Page not found error even for popular sites.
I am in velachery Chennai and I am fed up of the netexpress support, customer care is worst and it will work for some time and most of the time its down. Even now net does not work and when working Not even half the speed I get not sure how many calls have to make even called the manager and he give new reasons. Is there any action can be taken on these persons.
I used the connection @ Throipakkam for 3 months. Their plans are cheap so is their service and connection. The connection was unreliable. Sometimes, it will simply connect and the speed 100 times less than dial up. The customer service mentioned they were aware of the issue for our area and could not solve it for more than a month. I gave away their modem before 3 months even though I paid for 3 months. I did not want to waste any more time and money by making calls to their customer care. I do not recommend this to any one. If you value your time and money, do not even think of trying this.

It's the worst service, i have used ever. They do not pick up the phone anytime. But, will call you 100times for the payment when its due. Better stick to big players like Airtel / BSNL.
Im from karapakkam.AWFUL ... If i scold them in any language .. this message would be a spam.
These guys now started sticking Phamplets to every poles and walls here and there.

[protected] - This crap will not lift at all. If lifted he will tell this weekend or tomorrow. Those times never comes

[protected] - Rarely Lifts. This number is the guy working for connections, he will say we working on the same area for 3 days. We will call you while coming.

[protected] This land line number listens to your problem and will say not this number and gives[protected]
[protected] /[protected] Any time you call this number...a lady will pick the call at last moment. Asks for Connection name and Full address. She says that she will ask the working team and call us back in 30min or evening. No response after that. Whenever you make a call same process. No change.

SO SEEMS TO BE CHEAP NET CONNECTION BUT ONCE YOU GIVE MONEY. THIS IS LIKE MENTAL FRUSTRATION YOU BOUGHT IT WITH THE MONEY.

Very bad service and customer support for Netexpress tharamani. Took connection 5 days ago, Network is down for most of the time. No proper response from the customer care. Irresponsible people.
I'm surprised with most of the comments here, I agree initially I had a tough time making them come and set-up the connection.After the cable was given I had to wait for a week to get my modem, as they claimed the modem was unavailable.My calls were ignored(!).Finally a guy approached and setup the connection.Till this day its working fine for me, manual login is a pain, but no frequent disconnections as you say.Got good speed too.
