BSNL — Billed me even after I closed the service

Hello, I am Pradeep Meena and was residing in Panchkula for a month and half. I took BSNL broadband service there at that time. After a month I decided to shift back to Mumbai and submitted disconnection form to the BSNL office at sector 5 Panchkula. They made me fill a form for disconnection and told me it will be done. Few days back I received a bill of Rs. 2110. This is total surprise for me as I chose a plan of Rs. 1000 and they are sending me this bill that too after I submitted the form on 2nd July 2014. Point of concern is that I contacted POC for BSNL for me and he told me the line is still live, which was really surprising and shocking. Now they are not solving my issue and asking me to come down to Panchkula from Mumbai. I request you to kindly look into the matter.
