[Resolved] BSPHCL — Wrong Bill issued due to wrong meter reading taken | |||
Dear Sir, I am the son of consumer account No NA20045 in Nawada District of Bihar State which comes under the jurisdiction of SBPDCL. Me and my father was residing in outside of state in past two or three years. Only younger brother is residing in native district of some other locality. I am the responsible for payment of energy bill of my house. Due to outsider resident, I pay my entire bill through online commencing from Nov 2013 but after seeing the bill of Dec 2013, I am very frustrating to see the bill which come to Rs 56187/- and meter reading shown as 12155. Immediately, I call to my father and brother to check the actual status and meet to Meter Reader of my area and request to take the images and further to submit a letter to concern division head with request to correction the bill based on actual meter reading. Accordingly, my brother was follow to entire rules as Electricity Department asked and submit an application to Assistant Electrical Engineer on 24 Jan 2014 with all the proofs. A images of meter is enclosed for your ready reference. At the time of 24 Jan 2014 and that time my meter reading was shown as 2213. Sir, I am trying in three months to correct my bills through personally or mobile but neither any action hear nor any intimation received from Nawada Electricity Office inspite of repeated request made by my father and brother. After waiting of two valuable months, I filling two online complain through SBPDCL website for early correction of my bills but department has not to correct my energy bills till date. Lastly, I have come to my home since Mar 2014 and tried to resolve the issue but again failed to do so. I am also serving Central Govt Ministry Employee and found that working culture of electricity department is different other department of Bihar In view of above, I am not understand to how the consumer is responsible for this type of error. Inspite of above, electricity department have not taken any strict action against defaulter (who taking the wrong images of my meter and fwd to billing section without checking reading of LT Consumer whereas Tarriff category is DS-2A and connected Load is 3.00 KW are allocated) who mentally harass the consumer and not correct my bills . Hence, you are requested to please resolve the my long pending issue and you are my last and final hope / steps to pray for correction my bill.
