[Resolved]  AVON CORPORATION LIMITED, MUMBAI — MATURITY PAYMENT NOT GIVEN AGAINST FIXED DEPOSIT

I submitted my Fixed Deposit Receipt No. C004185 for Rs 5000/- (without interest) duly signed at Avon Corpn. Ltd's office in Goregaon Weston 06 July 2012.

The FDR matured on 10 August 2012. I have not received the maturity amount in my account till date.

What do I do? Can I make a police complaint?

Kindly let me know the status.

AVON corporation cheated
I am one of the customer cheated by AVON corporation. I have 2 FD 's of 20k & 70k with the corporation (1st due on May 12 and 2nd due on Sept14) but I have been issued the renewed FDR against the 1st maturity (from original date to Apr16 ) without any interest. The 2nd FDR is due in Sept14 now for which they are not lifting phone calls .

Can we all make a police complaint against the company?

Finally, AVON sent me a fresh FD certificate unilaterally extending the date by another four years to 10 July 2016.
I do not know what to do!

i taken FD of Avon Corporation on 28/06/2011 worth rupee of 30000. FDR no is C004009 and maturity date 28/06/2011 i completed all the formalities but till date i am not get my maturity amount of 42786/- till date so kindly do the needful of it.

Deposited a sum of rs; ten thousand only with AVON Corpn.Ltd., Mumbai vide FDR No. 005121 dt. 29/3/12 for one year for a maturity amount of rs. 11201/-. Despite hundreds of reminders over emails/telephone calls redemption money not paid. Validity of FDR extended by company on their own upto 28/2/17 with maturity amount of Rs.17476 and fresh fdr no. C010841 issued on their own against my will. Now company gone into liquidation. Petitions submitted to company law board, mumbai time and again. No reply. Company now with liquidator, Mumbai. No progress in settling claim. Bajaj Capital Limited, New Delhi who were instrumental in collecting fd for this company unable to provide any help. Now at the mercy of liquidator, MCA, Mumbai. U.K.Saluja, New Delhi.

https://goo.gl/Zrlml7 states we can FILE an FIR and PROCESS through proper legal channels to Company Law Board. In AVON case, it has to be filed with Liquidator - if that is already not closed.

Finally, AVON sent me a fresh FD certificate unilaterally extending the date by another four years to 10 July 2016.
It is now 7 months after 10 July, 2016! The company has not even cared to tell me my fd has matured even after unilaterally extending the maturity period by 4 years! What do you do with such senseless and useless company? Do I go to the police? Or do I follow up in the lines of litigation against this senseless and useless company? Or do I try and take over this company by buying their useless shares from the market in bulk?
Kindly enlighten me!

I have more than 2 lkhs shares...what shall i do? take up with liquidator? or appoint a company affairs lawyer? kindly advice

I have 2 FD's of 10k each for 1 yr and 3yrs maturity. Without my consent they are renewed the FD for another 3 yrs which got completed in year 2017. I have been trying to reach out to the company for my maturity amount. Nobody is responding. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THIS IS FRAUD COMPANY.
